Christmas market

Christmas market - Christkindelsmärik (in French)

In the authentic and welcoming setting of the old town, the Christkindelsmärik, renowned for the quality of the products on display, features nearly 200 stands selling local produce, crafts and more.

With over 30,000 visitors a year, the Bouxwiller Christmas Market is one of the most beautiful and authentic Christmas markets in Alsace!

Local shopkeepers and craftspeople will share their valuable skills and products with you:

  • local products sold direct: foie gras, snails, wine, honey, Bredele, etc.
  • crafts: Christmas decorations, wooden toys, pottery, jewellery, porcelain, etc.
  • books and stationery from local publishers
  • charity stands

Indoor and outdoor catering will be provided throughout the market by local associations. Professional caterers will also be on hand to welcome you with their specialities. You'll find pancakes, waffles, pastries, Àpfelkechle, pretzels, pea soup, sauerkraut with Spaetzle, Grumberekechle, hot cottage cheese sandwiches and soup ...

Discover our local delicacy:

Les charbons de Bouxwiller! These tasty cocoa-coated pralines were created by the Isenmann family, who ran a patisserie in the town centre. The "charbons" are named after the brown coal that was mined in Bouxwiller for many years.

Bouxwiller's delicious truffles are on sale at the Foyer Protestant de Bouxwiller during the three days of the Christmas Market, or at the Pâtisserie Voegtling throughout the year.

Venue: Foyer Protestant de Bouxwiller, 1 rue du 22 Novembre, 67330 Bouxwiller

Venue: Pâtisserie Voegtling, 10 rue des Seigneurs, 67330 Bouxwiller
